Ramahari Jena

Born in 1957 in Odisha, Ramahari Jena is an eminent Painter, Print-maker and Photographer with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Berhampur University. His illustrious career is marked by a National Award from Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, and the Charles Wallace (India) Trust Award in printmaking, which allowed him to study at Glasgow School of Art, UK. Additionally, he has received two State Awards from the Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi. Ramahari Jena has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the 11th Triennial at Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, the Embassy of France in New Delhi, International Independence Exhibition of Prints, Kanagawa, and Japan International Festival of Paintings – Cagnes-Sur-Mer, France. His works have been showcased at major exhibitions such as the National Museum of Damascus, Syria, ARKS Gallery, London, and Sutra and KamaRia Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. Ramahari Jena continues to inspire through his extensive body of work.
