The Ketaki Foundation Trust intends to pursue its goals of preserving and promoting the art, culture and literature of Odisha at the national level. It also aims to facilitate the placement of artists’ works in public collections, promote public awareness of the artists’ lives and work through scholarly research, documentation, exhibitions and publications. Additionally, it seeks to organize educational and collaborative projects to conduct research on the history of art, craft, culture and architecture for the education, awareness and betterment of society.

The Trust aims to support and grant aid, either in cash or in kind to emerging artists and artists from smaller cities or marginal areas as well as to support creative writing and the development of writers and readers of all ages and backgrounds in our region. It will also encourage and support new art forms and ideas and foster research in fields that directly or indirectly contribute to art and culture.

The Trust is committed to being intensely involved in promoting artistic excellence through an exciting synthesis of contemporary and traditional arts, in all their forms and mediums. It aims to publish various texts on art, including catalogues, books, monographs, brochures and translations of various texts into Odia and vice versa, to provide resources for students, educational institutions, libraries and individuals.

The Trust seeks to encourage and support the production and exchange of ideas by local and international artists through production, exhibition and dissemination. It will actively facilitate an informal network of contemporary artists both within the region and abroad.

The Trust is dedicated to the education and propagation of art, crafts, design and architecture through the establishment of institutions, galleries and museums. It will also focus on the restoration and conservation of monuments, arts, crafts, culture and architectural heritage.

The Trust plans to establish, maintain and run studentships, scholarships and provide other forms of aid to individuals, including the supply of medicines, books, stipends, medals and other incentives to support education without any discrimination of caste, color or creed.
