Ketaki Foundation in association with Silver Age Foundation for Elders regularly conducts ‘Art for Elders’ programme as a rejuvenating therapy for the senior citizen partners. The art workshops aimed at ‘Art for Healthy Aging’ is being conducted since August 2018 in which the senior members participate with a lot of enthusiasm.
The art therapy aims to realign the mental health of the senior citizens who attend the programme. The alternative modes of reception and communication through visual language gets past the limitations of language and brings in renewed vigour in the lives of participants. The engagement is a sharing and learning experience for all involved. Ketaki Foundation supports art materials and mentor-artists for the workshops.
The programme is conducted once in every month.
