Ketaki Foundation Trust honoured Laxmidhar Mahapatra with the 1st Dinanath Pathy Kala Samman 2021 and gave an honorarium for his lifelong contribution to the dying art forms.
Born to an artist family in 1957 in Digapahandi, Ganjam, Odisha, ChitrakarLaxmidhar Mahapatra is a skilled artist in the vernacular art forms like Ganjapa Painting, Patta painting, Wall Murals and Osakothi Painting. His entire life has been dedicated to the practice and uplifting of the folk art forms of Ganjam.
In the centre Ramahari Jena as Chief Guest & Jyotiranjan Swain from Ketaki Foundation Trust with other dignitaries on the opening ceremony of “District Level Chitrakala Karmasala” at Digapahandi.
Chitrakar Laxmidhar Mohapatra was felicitated “1st Dinanath Pathy Kala Samman 2021” by Ramahari Jena at Digapahandi on 22nd Feb 2021.
