Ketaki Foundation Trust and Silicon Institute of Technology successfully organized a unique program ‘obscura – a presentation and discussion on photography’ on 19th Aug, 2022, the world photography day, celebrated annually the world over, at Silicon Institute of Technology. Eight eminent photographers from all over the country were invited to share their knowledge and experience with the student members of Silicon Photography Club at Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar in presence of many dignified guests, art lovers and photography enthusiasts.

Kapilash Bhuyan, senior journalist and eminent filmmaker who is also the trustee, Ketaki Foundation Trust, welcomed the guests and the audience to the program. The guests of the program were Kamal Lochan Purohit, Ugresan Meher, Swati Mohapatra, Chandra Kant Pattnaik, Biranchi Sahu, K Gopinath Achary, Subhendu Bhattacharya and Ashis Dhir (Co-ordinator). Keynote address was given by Jaideep Talukdar, Principal, Silicon Institute of Technology.

The guests presented their work and experience and shared valuable tips with the audience. There was an interesting question and answer session when they replied to questions from the budding photographers on various aspects of the art and skills of photography. This event was a huge success with the support of the Management and the Faculties of Silicon Institute of Technology. This programme was quite valuable for the students of Silicon Photography Club.
